AMO Continues Rapid Expansion of Call Center

In August 2005, Asset Management Outsourcing Inc., (AMO) an Atlanta-based national debt recovery firm, announced plans to expand its Cleveland operation by hiring 50 new positions. Today, AMO enters Phase 2 of its planned expansion which calls for the addition of seventy new positions to be filled over the next three months.

“Most of our immediate need is for collection representatives,” says Mike Sands, AMO’s new Site Director. “However, we will also need to fill positions in management and various other administrative positions.”

During the initial phase of the expansion in August, 2005, fifty new positions were filled with residents from the Cleveland area. In December, AMO acquired 12,000 sq ft of brand new office space in the Village Green Plaza and is now ready for the 2 nd Phase of expansion.

“We had high expectations for the Cleveland labor market when we planned AMO’s growth strategy last year,” states AMO’s CEO Mike Chamberlain. “We were pleasantly surprised to discover that Cleveland, Tennessee has exceeded our expectations in terms of both the quality and abundance of labor. While this is not a market where candidates are rich with vast collection experience, there is minimal competition, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and a desire to build a satisfying career.”

At the current rate of growth, AMO expects to reach the 220 desk capacity at their new Village Green location as early as mid-year 2006.
